Raw Glory

Raw Glory desserts are made by Mashal – a good friend of mine – and are a delicious choice for an after-dinner snack. Lovingly created from all natural and some organic ingredients there are 6 flavours (with one more on the way!) that are named after Mashal’s 6 sisters. Every flavour is fresh and unique, and include Berry & Coconut, Blueberry, Lime & Macadamia, Cacao & Caramel, Apricot & Cashew and Chai with Earl Grey Tea & Fig.

Frozen to keep them fresh, they’re free from added preservatives and are super handy in that they can be kept in your freezer and pulled out when you need them. Once out of the freezer, the best way to eat them is when given up to 30 minutes to thaw out. They’re deliberately sized to be sensible portions for a treat – the perfect amount of natural sweetness.

These are one of life’s few guilt-free pleasures and are some of the yummiest and healthiest desserts I’ve ever had. If you’d like to try them out, Mashal does regular free tasting sessions such as tomorrow (Friday 23) at Commonsense Organics in Wakefield Street at 4:45pm. And if you can’t make that, as a special offer, Mashal is giving away one of her boxes of Raw Glory that contain samples of all her 6 desserts. All you have to do to enter is to visit www.facebook.com/RawGloryLtd and like and share her page within the next 7 days and you’ll be in the draw to have one of those boxes winging its way to your doorstep in no time at all!
