People often think they have to be ‘really bad’ to see a chiropractor, but actually the best time to start is before you get to a crisis. It’s just like eating well to prevent obesity, exercising before you get heart disease, seeing the dentist before you get cavities.

Most people have imbalance (sublaxation) in their spine long before they get any noticeable problems, preventative chiropractic care helps many people stay well, improve posture and avoid crisis.

If you are in pain, we will assist improving the balance and structure of your spine and nervous system to resolve the cause of your pain.

However, as it is often your lifestyle that caused the problem in the first place, once out of pain most people choose to have a regular maintenance adjustment (treatment) to keep their ‘spine fit’ and balance the negative effects of the modern lifestyle (sitting, stress etc). We only get one spine, please look after it well!

Once I go to Chiro, do I always have to go?

No, once your symptoms are gone you may choose to stop. However many people find that the cause of their symptoms is their lifestyle: sitting, stress and repetitive activities (eg. lifting, golf). Many people find that their regular Chiropractic adjustment helps keep up ‘spinal fitness’ (just like going to the gym keeps up body fitness) and then they are able to keep them doing the things they love for longer. How often you want to be adjusted is up to you.

What are the benefits of Chiropractic care?

The results from chiropractic are different for every person. Chiropractic does not treat any ailment, it aims to restore structure and function to the neuromuscuolskeletal system. Benefits that many people notice include:
