Tips to making lasting Health changes in 2014

Setting new year’s resolutions is a great way to improve health for residents in Whitby, Pauatahanui, Mana, Camborne, Plimmerton and Paremata but to see real results there are a few tricks to sticking to them.

According to statistics published in 2014 by the Journal of Clinical Psychology, almost half of the population made new year’s resolutions, but only 1 in 12 are likely to actually achieve them. The majority of these resolutions are based around improving health.

Roz Griffiths of Chiropractic Balance said: “The major reason why people fail is due to the lack of planning. We think that because it is our new year’s resolution, our health will magically improve. By the time February comes around, many people already feel like failures.”
